Caribou patchwork Quilt

The color of the moment seems to be this chocolate shade especially teamed with a startling contrast such as a bright green or pink as in these swatches.

Imagine a room with paintwork and decor in these colors. Renovate furniture with paint. Add candles, some bright cushions, a striking vase or bowl, get second hand items and give them a coat of paint to match the quilt or create the striking contrast.

Constance Patchwork quilt

This quilt called Constance Patchwork quilt is made of a hexagons. The above drawing shows how these ca interlace to creat patterns.
The word Constance refers to different things. It is a Lake in Europe go to LAKE CONSTANCE
It is also a girls name. Ours is a beautiful patchwork quilt with a pattern of hexagons. the fabrics are flower patterns, checks, plaids and plain. They have soft textures and give a traditional feel.

These are some color swatches I suggest would go with the Constance Patchwork quilt. These colors could be picked out in other fittings and paintwork.

In these times when we are all becoming thrifty out of necessity old furniture could be painted in different shades of these colors in matt and egg shell textures. Arrangements of silk or fresh flowers would work well. Pictures of roses or large roses like the artist Georgia O'Keeffe would work well.
