Brianna Patchwork Quilt

These are two pictures I took in Northern Ireland one is Giant's Causeway and the other is an inland wood.

The name of this patchwork quilt Brianna Patchwork Quilt originates in Ireland. It is a girls name pronounced bree-ahh-ah. It has origins in Irish, Gaelic and Celtic. Its has several meanings, high, noble, exalted,virtuous and strong. The male form today could be Brian. This Brianna Patchwork Quilt has really warm shades of green , ivory and cream. The small patterns remind me of delicate hedgerows in Ireland and country lanes. I like the soft tones and the warm feel to this quilt set.

This is a carved bear I took a photograph of in Canada on my last visit. He was one of three outside a golf club. The quilt I have shown below reminds me of the old log cabin style of the traditional clubhouse where we went for a coffee and cakes. I think this cool color in a matt or eggshell finish would be classic with the Blake quilt.

Ava Patchwork Quilt

One of my favourite flowers are roses and the one in particular which brings back memories of my childhood is one called Dorothy Perkins. It is shown above. It has garlands of old fashioned roses that drape all over.
This patchwork quilt we do called Ava Patchwork Quilt reminds me of this fabulous rose.

I have selected this palette of colors to go with the Ava Patchwork Quilt. I think it picks out the colors well in the Ava Patchwork Quilt. I can imagine the bedroom having fresh cut flowers some lovely textures and a serene ambiance.

Aurora Patchwork Quilt

I have always been fascinated by the aurora borealis which you can see in the Northern hemisphere. I think the best place in the USA is the state of Alaska. These images below show this fantastic phenomena.
